Retired board-certified psychiatrist Sam D. Toney, M.D., announces Revelation Equation, a plausible sci-fi novel, with regular updates available at RevelationEquation.com.
Thonotosassa, United States, October 28, 2026 /NewsNetwork/ -- Readers interested in string theory, the multiverse and the possibility of other dimensions can now follow a plausible science fiction novel as it is being written. Retired board-certified psychiatrist Sam D. Toney, M.D., has announced his novel-in-progress, Revelation Equation, alongside a companion website by the same name.

The story follows a scientist who spends decades building a formula that may reveal the structure of dimensions beyond Earth, says Toney. The equation is the main engine of the plot, and each change to the formula moves the story forward, while the science behind it draws on quantum theory, particle physics and dimensional mechanics. The narrative builds toward a test of the equation at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider, the particle accelerator where physicists confirmed the Higgs boson, popularly known as the “God particle,” in 2012.
Toney describes the book as “plausible sci-fi,” his term for fiction that keeps its speculation as close as possible to established science. In addition to quantum physics, the novel also explores identity, purpose, consciousness and the nature of truth. "The characters’ fear, wonder and obsession are meant to give the science real human weight and to explore deeper questions of meaning," Toney said.
The project grows out of Toney’s wider interest in how science and spirituality relate to each other. Along with the companion website, he hopes the book will help people with different beliefs and schools of thought find more common ground. "Fiction has often anticipated discoveries that later became fact," he added.
Besides updates on the novel, RevelationEquation.com publishes articles on the mysteries of the universe. Recent posts have covered the holographic principle, real-world teleportation experiments in physics, and possible links between parallel universes and synchronicity. Visitors can also join a discussion forum to share their own questions about reality and existence.
